Thanks for posting this. If anyone figures out a way to configure YouTube Live 360 Event from inside of the Teradek application, let me know. Also, if anyone has a Cerevo LiveShell, please post a tutorial.

Also, extra information being added: Ricoh R Dev Kit has the ability to correct the video orientation during live streaming in real time. Ricoh calls this “Real Time Orientation Correction.”

Impressive that a small camera like this has enough umph to do that and is also able to deal with the heat issues around stitching and orientation.

Along with that the stitching quality for video is exceptional. No stitching gaps or blind spots.

Friends, whenever I connect the HDMI monitor (LG IPS LED 22MP55), which is connected to the micro HDMI output of the Ricoh R Dev, the camera turns off. Any tips? Thank you

Dear friend, we have to evolve our tests. We need to test cables and devices to increase the distance of the USB cable. We can not work with a 30cm USB cable connected to a Macbook Pro SSD !!! I’m talking about the option of using the USB output for video (not the HDMI output).
For example, if you position the Ricoh R Dev in front of a stage to broadcast a show, the ideal would be for the computer to stay backstage. Shall we invest in this research?

I tested a USB2.0 Extender cable 5 meters active and it did not work. The image is locked.

Soon I will be investing in some alternatives. Follow them:

IOGEAR USB 2.0 BoostLinq Ethernet Extender> $ 52.43

IOGEAR USB 2.0 4-Port BoostLinq Ethernet Kit> $ 58.99

USB 2.0 BoostLinq Ethernet - 164ft (TAA Compliant)

USB 2.0 4-Port BoostLinq Ethernet - 164ft, 4-Port USB Extender over Cat5 / Cat5e / Cat6 Ethernet Cable

Here’s what IOGEAR support said:
Any equipment will work. Be sure to use a high quality solid core CAT6 / CAT6a cable for best performance.

I believe that Ricoh’s support can help as well.

Thank you!

Hi, radimidia.

USB2.0 Extender concerning, I do not confirm.
But I ran it via USB2.0 Repeater cable and HUB, so I would like to try it.
I will inform you as information.

Thanks!
